This weekend”Mattaponi Drag Boat Races” June 21st

Come and hang out with us this Saturday the 21st for the 2014 Mattaponi Drag Boat Races! We will have vendors, food, music and lots of fun in the sun. Find your perfect spot on the hillside and watch some of the fastest boats around as they speed through the finish line.

Race tickets are $12 if purchased ahead of time and $15 at the gate. Children under 12 are free. Trials start at 10:00; the races start around 11:00 and end at 6:00. Be prepared to walk, as parking is about 1/4 mile away. (Handicapped may be dropped fairly close by and/or shuttled by staff in golf carts.) Food is available. Ticket sales and food profits benefit the Mattaponi Rescue Squad.
