Before we begin with the festivities lets take a look back to an historic event that help create the United States of America. In 1776, members of the Second Continental Congress, meeting in Philadelphia, adopted the final draft of the Declaration of Independence. The following year we celebrated the 4th of July with ringing bells, firing guns into the air, lighting candles and fireworks. Over time we associated other activities with July 4th such as picnics, baseball games, eating contests and camping trips.
So come celebrate Independence Day with the best fireworks for 30 miles. We’ll also have activities on the beach including a corn-hole tournament and pig-pick’n.
